The Asia Pacific Network of Sex Workers (APNSW) was established by sex workers at the International AIDS Conference in Yokohama, Japan in 1994, APNSW supports the establishment of new sex worker groups, fosters solidarity between groups, and establishes partnerships with other networks in over 23 countries.
